Bio

Alice grew up in Salisbury and is now based in London.

She is currently directing Buggers by Alistair Hall at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where the production has been praised as “beautifully directed” (The Guardian, ★★★★★), an “immaculate production” (The Times, ★★★★★), “masterfully directed” (The Scotsman, ★★★★★), and “an insightful and uncompromising study of a relationship” (The Stage, ★★★★).

This autumn, Alice will direct Annie Baker’s The Flick with her company in Amsterdam. Most recently, she directed Body Count at Soho Playhouse in New York and Post, a short film executive produced by Emma Corrin. Alice also directed The Next Morning a short film for the National Theatre, written by James Graham.

Alice has worked as Associate Director to Ivo van Hove (All My Sons, Opening Night, A Little Life), Thomas Ostermeier (The Seagull), Robert Icke (Oedipus) and Simon Godwin (Macbeth).

She is Resident Director of Amsterdam on Stage, Associate Director of Bric a Brac, and Co-Chair of Mimbre, a female-led acrobatics company.
